The Program

Authentic Stories & Social Media Unfolding one’s narrative of content creation, showcasing the profound influence of digital storytelling. Exploring the concept of storytelling across various artistic forms such as dance, performance, and visual arts - emphasizing the importance of authenticity in artistic expression. Crossing Artistic Disciplines The focus is on the intersection of different artistic professions. The goal is to reflect on one’s practices and how they contribute to advocacy on human rights and marginalized groups. The group exchanges their respective work methodologies and thinks about how to collaborate across artistic disciplines that typically don't cross paths. Movement studies The sessions combine artistic talks & movement practices while questioning and challenging our thoughts about what we create as artists. Why do we create? What is the purpose behind it? Space In Frame A 4-part series that explores performances and how they relate to space, both physical and theoretical. The content focuses on stage design, positioning theories, and digital framing; and is based on Arafa's practice as well as precedents relevant to their work. Faces Unveiled The sessions will delve into the art of storytelling through portraiture. Participants will learn to create portraits by focusing on encounters, memories, and landscapes.
