Dancer, choreographer and organizer, Julien “Wrestler” Adjovi is a key figure in French Krump. An activist in his discipline for more than 13 years, krump, a powerful and lively dance, which he began in 2009, and his talent allowed him to very quickly evolve and launch his career. From there, the projects and opportunities follow one another. In 2017, he created his own structure and organized his first “Krumpfest” event.
This event is a meeting between the different actors of French krump, which already marks the beginnings of what will become Krumpfest, namely a structure dedicated to krump artistic and choreographic research, and which tends to open this discipline to a wider audience. and to connect it with other artistic practices. Since then, he has continued to explore and conquer the public through the workshops, performances and events that he organizes and where he excels as an artist, but also on the microphone as a master of ceremonies.
This posture is dear to him because it allows the public to be educated in a very important aspect of the krump “the Hype”, that is to say the encouragement of the public to push the dancer.
